We have so-called Season of Code weeks at Axini. And since it’s spring, this was our Spring of Code. This time it was in our offices in Amsterdam. Next time will probably be off-site together.
In these weeks we improve things at Axini that are harder to tackle during our normal iterations. In general, the improvements are oriented towards our platform or our way of working. Examples are technical debt reduction, innovation, getting prototypes a step further or looking into client specific requests.
This Spring of Code was more customer oriented, where we worked on:
- Generating BDD test cases from models, so bridging the gap between Model Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development.
- Improving the user experience of the Axini Platform: declutter the user interface, make workflows more intuitive and give more visual cues, etc.
- Visual modeling, where we enhanced our prototype to edit models both as text and in graph form at the same time.
And of course this was also a time to reflect, look back and have fun with each other!
